The hotels was entirely rebuilt in the 1990's and the rooms are are all medium to large in size with many of them offering the very best views of any hotel in the city wth direct views of the Kremlin, Red Square, St Basils and the Cathedral. Many of the rooms have now been refurbished with a luxurious mixture of traditional and modern with the lastest technology. The hotel has a selection of restaurants and the main restaurant offers the finest views in Moscow, an unique experience for the diner with views across the river to St Basil's and the Kremlin. The exterior is traditional, pale baroque. The hotel has a large spacious lobby. This award winning hotel is regarded as one of the most prestigious in the country as it was one of the first international branded hotels to open in the city in the nineties.
