This hotel located in the historic center is considered one of the best in Florence. Nestled in a Byzantine tower and a restored medieval church with magnificent views of the cathedral of Florence. Just a few minuts from the Uffizi Gallery, the Piazza della Señoria and the most famous shopping streets.

This popular hotel has four floors and a total of 96 rooms, nine of them suites, some with hydromassage tubs. They are contemporary in style and are equipped with air conditioning, iPod support, safe and private bathroom including hair dryer and free toiletries.

Facilities include 2 restaurants, an American Bar, two meeting rooms and a gymnasium with Technogym equipment. It also has a private museum that conserves architectural ruins discovered during its restoration.

    My opinion about this hotel

    We were not impressed by this hotel, from our arrival when we were given the wrong rooms, and the member of reception staff said it was our fault and was quite offhand

    The staff in the breakfast room seemed totally disinterested in their clients and talked loudly amongst themselves

    The corridors were grubby and the decor in the rooms jaded

    We found this hotel very poor value.
