My opinion about this hotel Hilton London Metropole

Basically a nice hotel, if not quite up to the standard of other Hiltons I have stayed in. Staff very good.

All would have been fine except that the heating didn\'t work in our room. (Our stay was on the coldest two nights of the winter so far.)

I reported it the morning after our first night, but there was no action or acknowledgement. On our second and last night a junior manager found us blankets and a portable heater, but the timer was broken. It switched off almost immediately and the damaged timer unit prevented us getting it back on for the night. There were no other heaters available.
