My opinion about this hotel Senator Barcelona Spa

About the hotel:

I did not like my stay there at all.

The staff was not friendly.

My requests have not been even considered.

Spa was closed during high season and nobody informed me about it. I had booked very early and I only found about it when I was there.

I asked to add one more night of stay and they would charge me the normal high season rate even if there facilities was out of order. So I had to move elsewhere.

My bathroom roof was leaking.

The swimming pool was too small and not nice at all.

When they made the room they always missed something: coffee, soap, shampoo, cover and I had to call at least three times to the reception to get it.

Their brochure on the internet was very misleading as it contains picture of all the rest Senator hotels in Spain which look fantastic. This one was nothing like that.

I\'m definitely not going there again.

About Destinia:

Destinia was not helpful at all. They should have informed me about the fact that the Spa was going to be out of order during my stay. Also, they were very unhelpful to assist me add one more night at my staying.

My opinion about this hotel Senator Barcelona Spa

The hotel has all it needs except good management. Everything looks ok but only on a picture like it looks on its imternet presentation but if you are there you can smell it too. Minibar is free or is better to say included in the price you paid for a room, but if you are staying longer than one night it will definitely be a problem to have your drinks replaced. Also, used shower gel is filled up with tap water insted of leaving it as it is or replacing it with a new one. And the worst thing at the end - one of the nights when we arrived in the hotel our room door was wide open but as nothing was missing we asumed that cleaning lady left it open in the morning. Anyhow, we left a complain to the reception desk, but nobody was too worried about this. They told us to check once again if anything is missing and if notice anything they will investigate who\'s responsibilty was this. That\'s it. So, for 4 star hotel way way below it\'s rating and my expectation.
